Housewives of America the World, this post is for YOU. These 2 kitchen cleaning tools will help make your jobs easier, so that when your man comes home for dinner, your kitchen will sparkle--as will your lipstick-applied smile! These tools will not only help keep your manicured fingernails perfect, they will shorten the time you spend cleaning in the kitchen--so you can focus your energy on more important things--like dusting and ironing.
Because we all know: A clean house is a sign of a happy housewife!
(WAAAIIIITTTTT. I forgot to tell you something very important. In order for this post to make sense, please read it using your very best chirpy, happy voice. It just won't do to read it in your regular voice. All together now--chirpy voices, gentle ladies!)

#1 ) The Pan Scraper - such a simple concept, such a simple design. Why, if I were the kind of lady that wore pants and worked outside the home, I could have designed the very thing! It's only a square piece of plastic. But, oh, what a job it does!
Please forget about those nasty mesh scrubbers that get all gooped up with food. Just the thought of that gives me the shivers. Don't even get me started on the germ-infested sponges. Even scrub brushes don't work as well. Because how many of you--like me--have been scrubbing something unpleasant with your scrub brush, only to make an unfortunate move, and flick some of that nastiness on your face? (Heaven forbid you'd have to re-do your make-up midafternoon!)
These pan scrapers work wonderfully on all those baked-on messes on cookie sheets, casserole dishes, and pots you never thought would get clean.
You can pick up these pan scrapers everywhere...Walmart, K-Mart, Scrapermart, even Amazon, if you're too lazy to get in your car and drive anywhere.
Oh, and aren't my gloves just divine? My dear friend Janna made those for me. They match my apron. And I am not even kidding.

Now that I have properly introduced you to the pan scraper, let's move on.
#2 ) Glass-top stove scrubbers - My dear friend Dawn just gave me this darling scrubber, and it has changed my life. Doesn't its cheery yellow color just make you want to clean the day away?
Here is how the stove scrubber changed my life: When we first bought our glass-top stove, the nice salesman only suggested we buy stove-top cleaner. Which, of course we did. In the past, when my little pans boiled over, I would pour on some stove-top cleaner and just scrub, scrub away with my kitchen washcloth. I would even let the cleaner soak on the tough stains, hoping to ease some of the strain. Because sometimes, gentle ladies, I would get little beads of perspiration on my top lip from scrubbing so hard. And we all know--a glistening top lip just will not do! (It makes the lipstick run.)
The first time I used this scrubbie, I actually giggled. It got those stubborn stains right out! Right away!

Heavens to betsy! Tools like these make my job so much easier!! Who knows? I might even be able to sit down and read the newspaper in the mornings. Wouldn't that just be dreamy?
