Well, here I am again--extolling my love of Wal-Mart. Last week, I showed you some fun--and inexpensive (my favorite!) Mother's Day gift ideas.
This week I CAN'T WAIT to show you some cool and out-of-the ordinary teacher gifts. Best of all--they are inexpensive, yet thoughtful!! Ya can't get much better than that!
So...WHY the Wal-Mart Love?
Here's my Wal-Mart Love Equation: Time + Money = Wal-Mart Love ...Let me explain:
1. I don't have a lot of time to run around town, picking up gifts. I can pick up EVERYTHING I need at Wal-Mart, while I am already shopping for groceries! Score!
2. I don't have a lot of money to spend on the hundreds of teachers my girls have. (Well, it FEELS like hundreds!) School, P.E., Music, Art, Latin, Sunday School, Awanas, Piano...the list feels like forever when you're purchasing gifts, doesn't it? I can find thoughtful gifts at Wal-Mart, put them together in a creative way, and spend a lot LESS MONEY! Cha-Ching!
Are you ready for my Cool and Creative Teacher Gifts TOUR???
1. This first set of goodies I like to call Hot Sun Summer Fun!
Here are the elements that will be wrapped up together:
1. Acrylic iced tea dispenser
2. Acrylic matching glasses (4)
3. Crystal Light Raspberry Green Tea
4. Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade (individual servings)
5. Note cards
6. Gardening gloves
7. Flower seed packets - Zinnia and Sweet Pea
8. Bliss chocolates
The note cards? I bought a box of 50 colorful note cards for $7.97, and divided them up into cute little packets (in clear cellophane bags I already had and accented them with cupcake stickers!) for 6 different teacher gifts! That equals $1.33 per gift!
Drum roll...here it is all put together:
Isn't this a cutie pie gift! Wouldn't you GRIN to receive something creative like this? I sure hope Sara Beth's teacher does! (Shh! Don't tell!!!)
The items are arranged cute all the way around...here's a different side view:
Hopefully, this will express appreciation and love to Sara Beth's sweet teacher!!
And guess what? It won't break the bank! That's Wal-Mart Love to me!!!
Ready for the next creative gift?
2. I like to call this beauty...I REALLY WANT THIS...Oh wait! That's NOT the name...I need to learn to control my impulses a little better! I like to call this cutie patootie Happy Jar 'o Goodies!
I cannot express to you HOW MUCH I LOVE these glass jars!! I could have these jars in every room of the house, organizing stuff and looking pretty! What teacher wouldn't want a cute jar for her desk or bookshelf to store goodies?
1. Glass jar
2. Colorful Post-It Notes
3. Colorful Note cards
4. Yellow hilighters
5. Hot pink Sharpies (I heart Sharpies)
6. Bright yellow stapler (heart heart)
7. Colorful jumbo push pins
8. Note cards (there are the note cards again!)
9. Days of the week magnet set
And, would you like to see this dreamy gift all together in the magnificent glass jar? (Sorry, I just cannot help my gushing over the jar!)
Ah, how I wish I were Rebecca's teacher! Well, I am her teacher...but not THIS teacher, stinking teacher who is lucky enough to get the jar...
Want to see a side view of the inside goodies?
Okay, but sometimes, don't you need just little gifts? Thoughtful little gifts?
Here are a couple of Thoughtfuls that Rebecca will give to her Music, P.E., Art, and Latin teachers...
I like to call them Writing Bliss...A colorful set of note cards (there they are again!), and some Bliss chocolates.
Aren't they sweet? If you notice, I printed cute little "Happy Summer Break" onto white card stock, and left room at the bottom for Rebecca to hand-write a personal note and sign her name.
You ready for the $ Totals?
Hot Sun Summer Fun = $23.12
Happy Jar 'o Goodies = $21.57
Writing Bliss =$1.93 each
Well, that concludes our little Cool and Creative Teacher Gifts! I hope these gifts inspire you to come up with some creative ideas of your own!
Also--remember, you can always amp up any of these gifts a little more by tucking in a little gift card. I could easily see a colorful Sonic gift card tucked inside any of these gifts! What teacher doesn't want a Sonic Slush in the middle of Summer Break?
