Oh my word.
It's that time of year again! How is it even possible the end of the school year is upon us? Well, I am not sure how the year flew by so quickly, but I SURE AM GLAD IT'S NEARLY OVER!!!
(Sorry for shouting...I am just ready spaghetti for summer!)
I am a little bit at a loss this year for teacher gift ideas. I am REALLY hoping you will help me. My creativity this year is all dried up. Kaput. Hasta la vista. I'd love to hear your creative ideas!
Here are a couple of gift ideas I used last year. I'd like to do something different this year. I have even thought about combining a couple of last year's ideas into a newer version...
Oh--but first--here are last year's ideas. I wrote about these last year. If you'll click on the idea name, you can re-read the post for specific instructions in creating it.
Sonic Happies- These are great for smaller teacher gifts. (And I don't mean short and skinny teachers...Although, let's not discriminate, please. Short teachers need love, too. The skinny ones...well, let's give them some King Size Reeses Cups.)
The gift card I used for these were $5...but you could do any amount.
Inside the cup...candy and gift card
All wrapped up with a Thanks a 'TOT'... printed card
Do the Sonic Happies make you as happy as they do me?
Happy Jar 'o Goodies- I have given several types of gifts using these glass jars from Walmart. I kind of have a problem with these jars...I can't resist them. But, not to worry--my therapist thinks I am getting better. Last year Rebecca had a 1st year teacher. We thought it would be fun to fill the Jar 'o Goodies with colorful classroom supplies.
The goodies inside the jar...for a detailed description, read the post.
Hot Summer Fun - Do you have a teacher who loves the outdoors, or loves gardening? This is a fun gift set filled with goodies that help make summer more fun!
The goodies all fit inside...read the post to find out how much everything cost (last year.)
At the last moment, I wrapped a flower lei around the whole thing. Doesn't it say FUN?
Wow. I sure wish I had some of last year's creativity... Sigh.
What are you giving your child's teachers this year?
Or, if you are a teacher--what do you like to receive?
