Woo Hoo!!! We made it to the weekend!
I sure hope you have time to kick back and relax a little this weekend. Around here, we're looking forward to my college roommate visiting (SO EXCITED!!!), Sara Beth's first soccer game (!!!!), and Rebecca's first gun safety course.
Here are some fun linky dinks for your reading pleasure!
Okay, I don't normally play online games. But, The Daily Diff showed up in my StumbleUpon feed, and I gave it a try. Ya'll--it is FUN. Evidently, there is a new "find the difference" puzzle every day. Don't be feeling too confident...it is HARD! I ended up having to use clues for the last 3 differences. Go on--give it a try! (Sorry...you have to wait through a commercial first)
You wanna know why I don't play online games...specifically Words with Friends? First of all, because my brother BEATS THE PANTS OFF ME every stinking time we play. And it makes me mad. Real mad. Another reason I don't play with other (less smart) people? Check out #4. I break that rule all the time. As a result, no one wants to play with me.
I think this DIY shopping bag art would be SO CUTE in a dressing room, closet area, or on a bedroom wall! Unique and so affordable, too. Love it! (Scroll down to the bottom picture.)
Know anyone with a milestone birthday...that you'd like to give a quick and inexpensive gift? I thought this "30 Sucks" idea was adorable!
I frequently disagree with Elizabeth Esther's viewpoint...yet, I still follow her on Twitter, and read her blog. Why? First of all, I appreciate her heart. Secondly, (and most importantly) because she makes me THINK. How can two Christians disagree so heartily? I don't know...But I DO KNOW that it's important to keep reading things I disagree with. I sure don't want to live my life in a box. I want to be open and loving to the world all around me. Her criticism of Focus on the Family--a ministry dear to my heart--really caught my attention this time.
This may have been the best thing I read all week. I love something simple, that just goes "zing!" with practical truth. This did it for me.
All right, now. Ya'll go and have a wonderful weekend! I hope you're enjoying this cooler weather like we are.
Now, go forth and weekend!
